SCI 8A - 6th Hour-Retman- Wed @ 12:40pm Assignments

Here is the document you need to use to determine what mid term you want to complete in science. The first 3 options are more flexible on what you do, but the 4th option is a flat grade based on the questions you answer correctly about the unit and CERs. You can post options 1-3 to this assignment.

Watch the video and complete the google document along with it. This assignment will be recorded for Q3.

This is your at home learning assignment for the week of 1/13-1/19/2021. If you are in Track B, you can complete in your notebook and take images and upload to this assignment. If you are in Track A, you can complete using the digital assignment below. Please "turn in" assignment in Google Classroom when you are finished.

If you missed class, read the story and write a CER (Claim, evidence, reasoning) paragraph. It should be about 4-5 sentences once you have written complete sentences for your claim (answer to question), the evidence you pull from story, and the reasoning (similar to scientific principle). You can also use the Pear Deck slides that we used in class for notes and instruction.

If you completed in pear deck, please "turn in" assignment and type in comment "Completed in Pear Deck". Otherwise, you will need to write your CER in the Google Doc and turn in.

After completing assignment during virtual class, upload an image of page 97 to this assignment.

After completing Activity 7.2 in class, update page 96 to this assignment. If you were not in class, you will need to watch the video attached before completing the assignment on your own.

After completing work in class using Pear Deck with teacher, upload images of pages 92(page with table), 93-94 to this assignment. If you were not in our virtual class, you will need to complete the assignment on your own. Please reach out if you need help.

Complete page 95 after we finish Activity 7.1 in class and upload an image of page 95 into this GC assignment.

After completing this assignment with me during virtual class, please upload images of your pages 79-80 to this assignment. If you do not attend class, you can watch the below video to complete the assignment on your own. Please reach out if you need assistance.

After completing this activity in class, please upload pages 75-78 from your notebook to this assignment and submit. If you were not in class, you will want to watch the videos below to help you answer questions and develop understanding.

Read pages 81-85 in your science notebook and answer the questions. When you have completed, upload images of the pages to this assignment.

After completing the Tug-of-War Lab in class, please upload images of the 3 pages or type your answers on the Google Doc and submit. (If you are at home doing this because you were absent when we completed in class, you can adjust the lab for number of people participating or the type of object you are using to pull if you don't have a rope).
